LAKSA LAMIAN
Experience authentic Singaporean Laksa; a multicultural blend of herbs and spices, simmered together in a delightful coconut gravy that will bring a smile to your face.
SIMPLE
- 1 pcNoodles/LaMian
- 1 pkt(A) Laksa Paste
- 1 pkt(B) Laksa Premix
- 500 mlWater
- 1. Add (A) Laksa Paste and then (B) Laksa Premix into 500 ml of water. Mix well and bring to boil.
- 2. Put noodles into the boiling Laksa soup (from Step 1). Lower heat and boil for 7 mins.
- 3. Laksa LaMian is ready to serve.
For a more indulgent meal, at Step 2, you may add cooked seafood, cooked chicken, hard-boiled eggs, bean sprouts and fried beancurd (tau pok) at the 6th minute.
ENHANCED
- 1 pcNoodles/LaMian
- 1 pkt(A) Laksa Paste
- 1 pkt(B) Laksa Premix
- 500 mlWater (for cooking LaMian)
- 200 mlWater (for cooking curry soup)
- 1. In a pot, add 500 ml of water and bring to boil.
- 2. Put noodles into the boiling water and cook for 7 mins on medium heat.
- 3. While the noodles are cooking, at the 5th min.
- 4. Add (A) Laksa Paste into a separate pot.
- 5. and stir-fry for 10 secs or till fragrant.
- 6. Then, add 200 ml water and (B) Laksa Premix.
- 7. Mix well and bring to boil.
- 8. After the noodles have cooked for 7 mins, drain away the water and transfer to a bowl.
- 9. Pour hot Laksa soup over. Laksa LaMian is ready to serve.
INDULGENT
- 1 pcNoodles/LaMian
- 1 pkt(A) Laksa Paste
- 1 pkt(B) Laksa Premix
- 500 mlWater (for cooking LaMian)
- 200 mlWater (for cooking curry soup)
- 3Prawn medium-sized, cooked
- You may also use cooked chicken
- 1 noHard-boiled egg, sliced
- 15 gBean sprouts
- 1 pcFried beancurd (tau pok)
- 12 gFish cake, sliced
- as desiredFresh Laksa leaves chopped
- 1. In a pot, add 500 ml of water and bring to boil.
- 2. Put noodles into the boiling water and cook for 7 mins on medium heat.
- 3. While the noodles are cooking at the 5th min, add (A) Laksa Paste into a separate pot and stir- fry for 10 secs or till fragrant.
- 4. Then, add 200 ml water and (B) Laksa Premix.
- 5. Add cooked prawns, fried beancurd (tau pok), bean sprouts, fish cake (If using whole hard-boiled egg, add during this step too).
- 6. Mix well and bring to boil.
- 7. After the noodles have cooked for 7 mins, drain away the water and transfer to a bowl.
- 8. Pour hot Laksa soup over.
- 9. Add sliced hard-boiled egg and Laksa LaMian is ready to serve.
