LAKSA FRIED RICE

A rich stir-fry sauce laced with herbs and spices to whip up a full-bodied dish. Inspired by Laksa, one of Singapore’s favourite dishes!

LAKSA FRIED RICE

  • Serves 2-3
     
  • 1 pkt
    Prima Taste Laksa Fried Rice Sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    Vegetable oil
  • 40 g Chopped
    Shallot
  • 15 g Chopped
    Garlic
  • 2 nos Beaten
    Egg
  • 500 g Overnight
    Steamed rice
  • 1 pc
    Fried bean curd (tau pok)
  • 20 g Julienne
    Fish cake
  • 50 g Cooked and cut 1cm diced
    Prawn
  • 2 g Chopped
    Laksa leaves (Optional)
  • 4 tsp
    Water
  • 1. Stir-fry garlic and shallots in 2 tbsp of vegetable oil on medium heat.
  • 2. Add 2 beaten eggs and 500g of steamed rice immediately.
  • 3. Stir-fry till rice is evenly coated with eggs and is loosened.
  • 4. Add Prima Taste pack and 4 tsp water.
  • 5. Stir-fry till rice is mixed well and fragrant.
  • 6. Add fried beancurd cubes (tau pok), fish cake, prawns and laksa leaves.
  • 7. Stir-fry for another 15 seconds.
  • 8. Laksa Fried Rice is ready to serve.
